Originally from London, I grew up in Leeds where I began dancing. Later on I went to train at the Hammond School in Chester before going on to study full time at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance. I joined National Dance Company Wales as an apprentice in 2015 and have since been a full time dancer with the company. I have toured extensively across the UK and internationally, performing works by Alexander Ekman, Roy Assaf, Caroline Finn, Johan Inger, Fernando Melo and Marcos Morau amongst others.

I come from Singapore and trained at the Singapore Ballet Academy, School of The Arts Singapore, Rambert School and VERVE (Postgraduate performance company of the Northern School of Contemporary Dance). I was a company dancer in Frontier Danceland (Singapore) for three years, then joined NDCWales in the summer of 2019. I have performed work by a variety of choreographers including Shahar Binyamini, Marcos Morau, Alexandra Waierstall, Caroline Finn, Andrea Costanzo Martini, Anton Lachky, Nigel Charnock and Richard Chappell. I have created dance films which have been screened in film festivals in the UK and Singapore, and have been commissioned to choreograph works for School of The Arts Singapore, Frontier Danceland, NDCWales, VERVE, Rambert School and the Centre for Advanced Training. My education and outreach work in dance includes facilitating youth training programmes such as Frontier Danceland's Pulse programme and the NDCWales Associates programme, as well as being involved in community engagement work with Richard Chappell Dance.

I studied at the School of The Arts (SOTA) in Singapore before pursuing full-time vocational training at the New Zealand School of Dance in Wellington, New Zealand, where I had the pleasure of performing in works by Amber Haines, Sarah Foster-Sproull, Michael Parmenter and Hofesh Shechter. Upon graduating I worked with Humanhood Company from 2018 through to 2019, performing in their first group piece ‘Torus’. In early 2020 I joined Shechter II, touring ‘Political Mother: Unplugged’ around Europe in the autumn/winter of 2021. In the interim I was involved in the creation and performance of ‘Light: Bach Dances’, a production co-produced by the Royal Danish Theatre and Hofesh Shechter Company. I joined NDC Wales in January 2023.

Originally from Bristol, I found contemporary dance through RISE Youth Dance and National Youth Dance Company. I began my full-time dance training at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts before studying at London Contemporary Dance School, graduating with a first-class BA (Hons). During my studies, I have had the privilege to work with choreographers and companies such as Holly Blakey, Richard Alston, Boy Blue, the English National Ballet and New Creations Collective. I am so excited to have the opportunity to join NDCWales as part of NSCD’s PPS scheme this year.
