What's On Where

Romance Inverse
Itzik Galili's dance Peeled scored a massive hit with our audiences in 2008 and since then he has been in huge demand. Galili has returned to create a new commission Romance Inverse. The dancers share a stage but without any interaction; their intricate, flowing movements around large moving boards are then reversed. The dance then transforms into elegant duets and ensembles. This is all played out against a driving new score by Percossa and music from Steve Reich with dramatic lighting that is leaving audiences gasping for more.
...and Petronio's back
American Stephen Petronio has created his first commission for us following our dancers' performances in 2008 of Petronio's Strange Attractors. This new dance is bursting with the New Yorker's love affair with fashion, physicality and passion for movement. It has been created with a new score by Ryan Loft which incorporates traditional Welsh choral music. The result of this unique collaboration between one of the world's most intelligent choreographers, our international dancers and voices from Wales is this seminal new work.
