We have set pulses racing on and off the stage across the nation and the world as Diversions for more than a quarter of a century. Now join us as we proudly take our next steps with a bold new name: National Dance Company Wales.

Back in 1983 Diversions was created by Roy Campbell-Moore and Ann Sholem with support from the Arts Council of Wales. Their vision was to bring the brightest, most innovative choreography to Wales, performed by dancers with individuality and character within an organisation that would nurture, foster and drive the art-form.

From our state-of-the-art home at the Dance House at Wales Millennium Centre, our dancers now perform all over Wales and we are also one of Wales' busiest international touring companies.

Those exhilarating dance performances are complemented by a wide-ranging programme of engaging participation and education work throughout the community and the development of the art form at the Dance House at Wales Millennium Centre.

"Whether it's Milan or Milford Haven, Bilbao or Brecon, we are committed to giving inspiring and entertaining dance to all our audiences." Ann Sholem, Artistic Director
