National  Dance Company Wales creates inspiring and entertaining choreography, danced all over Wales, the UK and internationally by charismatic and virtuosic dancers.

The Company was created as Diversions by Roy Campbell-Moore and Ann Sholem in 1983, with support from the Arts Council of Wales, to create and perform innovative choreography and nurture and drive the art-form. Diversions changed its name to National Dance Company Wales in 2009.

The exhilarating performances are complemented by a wide-ranging programme of engaging participation and education work throughout the community and the development of dance at our home, Dance House at Wales Millennium Centre.

The Company is led by Artistic Director Ann Sholem.
