Male Dancer / Angen Dawnsiwr

National Dance Company Wales requires a male dancer with a minimum of three years’ professional performing experience to start 27th July 2015. The contract will be fixed term until 19th December 2015. Autumn repertoire will include making new work with Jeroen Verbruggen, and performing existing works by Johan Inger and Alexander Ekman. Applicants must possess strong contemporary and classical technique.

Development Manager

Salary £26,000 - £28,000 per annum pro rata

22.5 hours per week (60%)


NDCWales creates and performs extraordinary dance events for the people of Wales, the UK and internationally. In addition to an award-winning performing dance company, touring across Wales, the UK and internationally, NDCWales has a wide ranging programme of artist-led projects and audience engagement activities. The company presents excellent work by international and UK-based choreographers in venues of different scales, and is developing its programme to include new contexts beyond theatres and collaborations with companies in Wales and beyond.


NDCWales now wishes to appoint an experienced Development Manager to establish and implement a new fundraising strategy for the company. This post has been created alongside a new marketing and engagement post to significantly improve the company’s earned income and fundraising capacity, raising funds primarily from trusts and foundations, individuals, corporate and also from statutory sources.
