National Dance Company Wales works closely with the Arts Council of Wales and the Welsh Government in enriching the cultural life of the nation and leading in the development of dance in Wales. In addition to providing financial support, Wales Arts International and the British Council help us with us to identify international destinations that are of interest and importance to Wales. We also work with Cardiff Council through A2: Arts Active and with the Cardiff Arts Support Team (CAST). Wales Millennium Centre is our home is an integral partner in our work.
NDCWales is a member of the National Dance Network, a membership network of 21 significant organisations whose primary role is the development of dance in the UK. We are a pivotal member of Creu Cymru, the development agency for theatres and arts centres in Wales.
We are active in co-producing, relationship building and partnering on one-off and long term projects and work with Aberystwyth Arts Centre, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Rubicon Dance, Literature Wales, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Touch Trust, Community Dance Wales, English National Ballet, Tŷ Cerdd, Hijinx, Royal Academy of Dance, Scottish Ballet, Taliesin Arts Centre, Dynion, County Youth Dance, STEM Dance Kampni, Bangalore, Chapter Arts centre, Dance Blast, ArtWorks Cymru and Welsh National Opera on a wide ranging portfolio of activities.
